about the conference

Hosted by the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment

Registration for this event has now closed. Walk-ins are welcome.

A conference on climate action in the United States will be held on Thursday, September 20, and Friday, September 21, 2018, at the center’s Maeder Hall auditorium, Princeton University. The focus of the conference is on the key sectors that are the source of most U.S. greenhouse gas emissions: power and transportation. A mix of researchers, policymakers, and business and non-profit leaders will talk about the interplay of technology innovation, public policy, markets, and human behavior; what actions are being taken; and how we can accelerate progress on all these fronts.  Keynote speaker, Tammy Snyder Murphy, First Lady of the State of New Jersey will share her perspective on NJ’s opportunity for climate action. Other speakers include representatives from Uber, Citi, NRG, and Princeton University.

Please join us on Thursday, September 20, at the center’s Maeder Hall auditorium, Princeton University, for a public lecture by Debbie Mans, Deputy Commissioner, New Jersey Department of Environment Protection on the climate and energy challenges facing New Jersey.
