Gerhard R. Andlinger Visiting Fellows in Energy and the Environment
The Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment at Princeton University established the Gerhard R. Andlinger Visiting Fellows Program to attract distinguished visitors who will enrich the research and/or teaching missions of the Andlinger Center. Applicants must propose a set of activities designed to enrich teaching and/or research at the Andlinger Center that goes beyond contributing to the visitor’s career development, research, teaching, and/or advancing a collaborator’s research.
Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellows in Energy and the Environment
The Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment at Princeton University established the Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellowship Program to attract promising doctoral graduates who will enrich the research and/or teaching missions of the Andlinger Center. Fellows have the opportunity to collaborate with the center’s associated faculty and research staff members on innovative energy and environmental projects.
Maeder Graduate Fellowship in Energy and the Environment
The Paul A. Maeder ’75 Fund for Innovation in Energy and the Environment supports the Maeder Graduate Fellowship in Energy and the Environment. Each year, faculty members nominate the very best post-generals, non-DCE graduate students performing research related to energy and/or the environment as impacted by energy. The student may be enrolled in any Ph.D. program on campus and nominations from departments outside of engineering are encouraged.
New Jersey Wind Institute Fellowship Program NEW!
The New Jersey Wind Institute Fellowship Program, sponsored by the New Jersey Economic Development Authority, is a new opportunity for graduate and undergraduate students to pursue research or projects focused on the offshore wind industry. The Fellowship Program is open to students at Princeton from all disciplines and backgrounds.

Undergraduate Summer Internships
The Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment (ACEE) invites undergraduates to apply for paid summer internships. Funding will be provided for research projects performed under the direction of faculty doing research in areas related to the center’s mission of finding solutions to secure our energy and environmental future.
Undergraduate Student Funding
The Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment (ACEE) welcomes proposals for undergraduate student group and individual projects in areas related to energy and the environment. Applications may be submitted through the Student Activities Funding Engine (SAFE) and must include a detailed proposal, budget, names of group leaders (if applying for group funding), and student transcript(s). Proposals should be no more than two pages and clearly identify the applicability to ACEE’s mission of providing solutions to energy- and environment-related challenges. Students from all university departments are welcome to apply.
