Princeton University’s Office of Communications published a story on Robert Socolow’s freshman seminar, which explores the long-term consequences of climate change: Freshman seminar asks students to envision their future in a changing climate

In the seminar, Socolow, professor emeritus and senior research scholar in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, engages students with the impacts of climate change and various mitigation strategies. The students write essays that will be opened at the students’ graduation in 2021, and at their 10th, 25th, and 50th reunions. Socolow is the lead author of the Energy Technology Distillates, published by the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment.
