Barry Rand, assistant professor of electrical engineering at Princeton University‘s electrical engineering department and the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment, has received a Young Investigator Program (YIP) award from the Office of Naval Research (ONR). The purpose of the ONR YIP program is to fund early-career academic researchers, whose scientific pursuits show outstanding promise for supporting the U.S. Department of Defense as well as to promote their professional development.
