Barry Rand, assistant professor at Princeton University’s electrical engineering department & Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment, has received the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA)’s Young Faculty Award (YFA) for his proposal entitled, ” Compound semiconductors for transient electronic and optoelectronic systems.”
The long-term goal of the YFA program is to develop the next generation of academic scientists, engineers and mathematicians in key disciplines who will focus a significant portion of their career on DoD and national security issues.
