The company, headquartered in the Netherlands, is a European provider of end-to-end decarbonization and higher energy efficiency solutions. Operating in over 12 European countries (mainly in Germany, Poland, and Italy), Elevion Group provides a wide range of services across industries, including solutions for energy efficiency in buildings, process management and optimization, and sustainable energy such as photovoltaics, energy storage, and biogas.

As a member of E-ffiliates, Elevion Group will be able to collaborate with a wide array of scientists and engineers at Princeton, from researchers who specialize in industrial efficiency and decarbonization to those developing innovative building management systems for reducing the energy footprint of the built environment.

“We are excited to collaborate with the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment at Princeton. This partnership will allow us to share our decarbonization expertise with fellow E-ffiliates members and drive innovation through university cooperation,” said Jaroslav Macek, CEO of Elevion Group.

In addition to exploring innovative research solutions, Chris Greig, the associate director for external partnerships at the Andlinger Center, said Elevion Group’s expertise across a wide range of European industries and markets offers opportunities for the Andlinger Center to strengthen its reach and impact in Europe.

“The work of Elevion Group is well-aligned with the Andlinger Center’s mission of translating research and knowledge into impactful technology solutions,” said Greig, who is also the Theodora D. ’78 & William H. Walton III ’74 Senior Research Scientist in the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment. “This partnership between the Andlinger Center and Elevion Group is an opportunity for both groups to learn from one another and leverage each other’s insights to drive progress toward a net-zero economy.”
