Andlinger Center: Visiting Professor

Princeton University seeks a distinguished senior scholar in energy or energy-related environmental science and/or engineering for appointment as a visitor to Princeton University for up to one year commencing on February 1, 2015 or September 1, 2015 through academic year 2015-2016. The successful candidate will be appointed as a visiting faculty member jointly through the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment (https://acee.princeton.edu) and an academic department that will depend on the candidate’s particular field. The successful candidate may be either an academic visitor from another university spending a sabbatical year at Princeton or a senior practitioner from industry, a government laboratory, or a non-governmental organization.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach one course per semester in residence in a relevant field, subject to sufficient enrollment and approval by the Dean of the Faculty. Renewal of the appointment for a second year may be possible.

Essential Qualifications:
Potential research areas of interest include but are not limited to: carbon capture, energy-water nexus, energy-related environmental research, green information technology, smart grids, and power electronics.
