The US Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) has announced a highly prestigious postdoctoral research program for recent PhD recipients.  The application deadline is May 1, 2012.  The awards are sponsored by the Buildings, Vehicles, Hydrogen and Fuel Cells, Geothermal, Solar, and Water EERE programs.  Award recipients will have access to unique education and training opportunities, top scientists in their field, and state-of-the-art projects and equipment through research opportunities at universities, national laboratories, and other research facilities.  The award provides an annual stipend, research allowance, and health insurance allowance.  More information and application instructions are available on the EERE website.
