Princeton University’s Office of the Dean for Research has selected several new projects to receive funding that promise to expand the bounds of knowledge: Exploring new research paths: Dean for Research awards emphasize innovation.
This year’s Innovation Funds were awarded in four categories: natural sciences, social sciences, collaborations with industry, and the campus as a laboratory. The last of these funds is made possible by support from the Office of the Dean for Research, the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment, the High Meadows Foundation Sustainability Fund, the Princeton Environmental Institute, the Office of the Dean of the College, and Facilities. It supports five projects that aim to advance knowledge and practice in areas of sustainability, energy and the environment using Princeton’s campus as a research laboratory.
