On April 9-10, 2018 Yueh-Lin (Lynn) Loo will deliver the 29th Annual Julian C. Smith Lecture at the Robert Fredrick School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Cornell University. Loo is the Theodora D. ’78 William H. Walton III ’74 Professor in Engineering, director of the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment, and a professor of chemical and biological engineering: This Year’s Julian Smith Lecture, Cornell University.

The Julian C. Smith lectureship was established by members of the Cornell Engineering Class of 1962 and other friends and colleagues in honor of Professor Emeritus Julian C. Smith, who also served as the director of continuing education for the College of Engineering at Cornell University and the director of the School of Chemical Engineering. He retired in 1986.
