Raphael Aryeetey named executive director of the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment

On August 3, Raphael Aryeetey joined Princeton University’s Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment as executive director.

Previously, Aryeetey served as assistant director for finance and planning in the School of Engineering and Applied Science Dean’s Office. There, he provided strategic leadership across a broad portfolio of financial, operational, and project-based initiatives supporting research, academic, and institutional priorities.

As executive director, Aryeetey will oversee core strategic and operational functions. He will work with Director Iain McCulloch, faculty leadership, and staff to help advance the Andlinger Center’s mission of developing innovative solutions to global challenges in energy and the environment through world-class research, education, and external engagement. He succeeds Diane Carlino, who retired as executive director on June 30.

“I am honored to join the Andlinger Center, which has established itself as a global leader in addressing society’s most pressing energy and environment challenges, at such an exciting time,” said Aryeetey. “I look forward to working alongside our outstanding faculty, staff, students, alumni, and external partners to build on that strong foundation and help advance the Center’s mission in the years ahead.”

Aryeetey earned his MBA from Rider University. He is a certified Project Management Professional.
