Advancing the Global Energy Transition
June 26 – 29, 2022

about the program

This module will explore the technological, organizational, behavioral, and financial innovations necessary to effectively mitigate and build resilience to the impacts of climate change. Through a blend of presentations, panels, and hands-on exercises, participants will learn about sustainable energy technologies and systems, robust and adaptive energy systems planning, and decision making challenges and opportunities. The goal of the module is to equip participants to lead the way in planning and implementing effective, responsible, and sustainable decisions for their organizations, which, in turn, will have broad impacts on the management of our global resources and environment.

“We all benefit when university research translates across sectors. These kinds of partnerships drive economic progress and prosperity, and thereby help to create the conditions for democracy and freedom.”

 – University President Christopher L. Eisgruber during YGL 2018
