The Odebrecht Organization, a diversified business leader working for positive sustainable change worldwide, invites students to submit entries for the Odebrecht Award for Sustainable Development.  The closing date for submission of entries is May 31, 2012.  This project-based opportunity will challenge students to develop solutions that promote innovation and progress in the area of sustainability.  Student applicants should be pursuing degrees in either engineering, architecture, building and construction management, or chemistry.  Individual or group (no more than three students) projects must be undertaken under the supervision of a faculty member.  $65,000 in cash prizes will be distributed to three winners, shared among the students, the faculty advisor, and the home university.  More information is available on the Odebrecht Organization’s website.
