Barry Rand and Jesse Jenkins were featured guests on SolarCoaster, a renewable energy-themed talk show based in Hawaii. The podcast brought together the Andlinger Center and Community Energy CEO, Brent Alderfer, to discuss a new research collaboration between them. Community Energy, a national renewable energy developer, is the newest member to join the Princeton E-ffiliates Partnership, the corporate membership program of the Andlinger Center.

Rand is the associate director for external partnerships at the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment and associate professor of electrical engineering and the Andlinger Center, and Jenkins is assistant professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering and the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment. Community Energy is supporting a project, led by Jenkins and his team, to develop decarbonization strategies for the U.S. power grid, specifically for PJM, an electricity market that stretches roughly from New Jersey to North Carolina and D.C. and parts of Illinois.
