Assistant Professor: Joint with Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering

The Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment and the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Princeton University invite applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in energy sciences and engineering.  We are especially interested in candidates in the fields of energy systems analysis and integration, energy storage technologies, and waste heat recovery.  Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering or a related field and must have a demonstrated record of outstanding research, the ability to establish an independent research program, and a commitment to teaching both undergraduate and graduate students.

The Andlinger Center was founded in 2008 to foster interdisciplinary research and collaboration in the areas of sustainable energy, energy conservation, and environmental protection and remediation.  The center encompasses faculty from a wide range of departments across the University.  We seek candidates with background and skills in areas of the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, but who also can build ties and collaborate with other members of the Center.
