Examples include plasma-materials interaction, magneto-hydrodynamics, and dynamical systems modeling and control of plasmas, but all areas of expertise relevant to plasma physics and fusion energy will be considered. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Engineering, Physics, or a related field, and have a demonstrated record of excellence in research with evidence of an ability to establish an independent research program. We seek faculty members who will create a climate that embraces excellence and diversity, with a strong commitment to teaching and mentoring that will enhance the work of the department and attract and retain students of all races, nationalities and genders. We strongly encourage applications from members of all underrepresented groups.

To ensure full consideration, applications should be received by February 1, 2014; however, we will continue to accept applications until the position is filled.
