Professor

Princeton University seeks a distinguished senior scholar in the field of energy science and engineering. The successful candidate will be appointed as a faculty member jointly through the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment and an academic department that will depend on the candidate’s particular field. We are particularly interested in those whose research encompasses one of the following areas: energy storage, biofuels/biomass conversion, solar thermal conversion, waste heat recovery, or chemical carbon sequestration (to make high value polymers/chemicals).

The Andlinger Center was founded in 2008 to foster interdisciplinary research and collaboration in the areas of sustainable energy, energy conservation, and environmental protection and remediation.  The center encompasses faculty from a wide range of departments across the University.  We seek candidates with background and skills in areas of the department, but who also can build ties and collaborate with other members of the center.
